Prof. Carmen Díez Medina (Madrid, 1962) is an architect (ETSA Madrid, 1988) and Ph.D. at the Technische Universität Wien (TU, Vienna, 1992-96).
Since 2009, she has been Associate Professor of Theory and Architectural History at the School of Eng. and Arch, Department of Architecture, University of Zaragoza, where she is in charge of the Architectural History and Theory disciplines and coordinator of the Ph.D. Program “New Territories in Architecture”. She was collaborating architect at Nigst, Hubmann&Vass in Viena (1998-94) and at Rafael Moneo in Madrid (1996-2001).
Research fields: Contemporary history of architecture and urbanism, social housing.
