Łukasz Jureńczyk is PhD, postdoc, professor of Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz - born in 1981 in Bydgoszcz (Poland). A graduate in political science, European studies and business administration at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Vienna University and Kazimierz Wielki University. In 2009 he obtained a doctoral degree in humanities within the field of political science at the Jagiellonian University, and in 2018 a postdoctoral degree in social sciences within the field of political science at the Jagiellonian University. Since 2008, he has been working at the Institute of Political Science at the Kazimierz Wielki University. He specializes in international political relations and security policy. He is the author of the monographs: Polish mission in Iraq. Implications for Iraq and Poland (2010), The war against the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. Afghanistan in the years 1994–2012 (2013), Polish mission in Afghanistan. The Polish Army in the NATO’s crisis response operation (2016) and Poland in the North Atlantic Alliance. The Polish Army in the NATO’s crisis response operations (2016), co-editor of nine collective monographs and author of about seventy articles in scientific journals and collective monographs. He was also a visiting professor of Kadir Has University (Turkey), University of Granada (Spain), University of Aveiro (Portugal), Vilnius University (Lithuania), University of Bucharest (Romania), University of Perugia (Italy) and Muğla Sitki Kocman Universitesi (Turkey).
