BeppoSAX was launched on 1996 April 30 and was operating for exactly six years. Its instruments were switched off on 2002 April 30 and it remained to orbit around the Earth for another year. The satellite was definitely destroyed on 2003 April 30 when it fell into the Pacific Ocean. In six years of scientific activity BeppoSAX pointed at many sources and provided many important discoveries in several areas of astrophysics. In particular, we recall here the first detections of X-ray afterglows from Gamma–Ray Bursts that triggered the optical observations and allowed the distance estimates. This volume contains some review papers on the BeppoSAX observations of pulsars, AXPs and SGRs together with several other review and contributions on recent results about this classes of sources. It represents therefore a kind of legacy of BeppoSAX in the field of pulsar physics in comparison with the most relevant findings of other space and ground based observa¬tories. A lot of scientific results that stimulating the theorical modelling of neutron star structure and environment. Furthermore, they will be very important research subjects for present and next satellites for High-Energy Astrophysics like Integral, Swift, AGILE and GLAST.Writings of M. Ali Alpar, M.P. Allen, T.
