Diagnosis for the Conservation and Valorization of Cultural Heritage

In the last five years, the AIES Cultural Heritage organized the Conference Diagnosis Conservation Promotion of Cultural Heritage to allow a constructive discussion on the concept of valorization, strategic and critical for our country. Still, despite the excellent results obtained in the congress, and the results of which are available on the website www.diagnosisculturalhertage.com, the term valorization is exploited as commercial value creating confusion among heritage professionals and alibi for t Governance involved in the valorization of the institutional Cultural Heritage. The practical consequences of this cultural dystonia result in a poor quality of projects and methods for the initial absence of a diagnosis of the cultural context and for the absence of criteria for measuring the productivity of expenses incurred. The AIES on the fringes of the conference in 2012 organized a meeting “Workshop of the interdisciplinary connections” with the aim to highlight and take every opportunity to qualify the entire design process, working in this Statement. In particular, to study and investigate the modes and forms of organic links between the economic, professional, scientific and technical operating in the sector to build synergies between those businesses and professionals required to participate in public procurement. To put valorization as suggestions for improvement hides the failure of governance to produce quality design and comprehensive as noted repeatedly by the Court of Accounts. The development, located in tender without its design, it becomes a red herring and factor of disturbance of the contract. Is systematically postponed to an offer of bidders being that companies OG and OS do not have any direct systemic and scientific expertise in matters dealing with services that require diagnosis of the object to be exploited, organization of systemic complexity, grafts of creativity, professional experience ICT in knowledge of Economics of Cultural Heritage to make an assessment of the economic offer that you are going to unhinge in the "suggestions for improvement" for the generic term lend themselves to subjective evaluations always at the expense of quality of expenditure. While waiting for the Governance fully reflecting the results of scientific research and the current regulations, the AIES think of fielding a meeting between actors in the form of an exhibition for the Promotion of Cultural Heritage with the aim of encourage interdisciplinary dialogue and the development of the necessary creativity.
