The present book is intended to provide a philosophical and historical analysis of Gödel’s scientific results, particularly those connected with the constructivist point of view in the foundations of mathematics as well as with the nature of both human cognition and the concept of time. These issues are less-known than the incompleteness theorems but they can help us to interpret Gödel’s thought from different and innovative perspectives.
