Construction of Differential Models

SINTESI

In this book some examples of construction mathematical models of evolutionary processes described by ordinary differential equations are presented. The book is devoted to students of higher educational institutions, engineering Institutes as well as for research engineers and physics-mathematical specialities in Universities where the methods of qualitative theory of differential equations in their researches are used.Gerardo Iovane is associated professor in Mathematical Analysis (MAT/05) at the Department of Information Engineering and Applied Mathematics – Faculty of Engineering – University of Salerno, Italy. After the degree in Physics he obtained the PhD in Physics and a second PhD in Mathematics. He followed the 58° IASD (Istituto Alti Studi per la Difesa) Session of the Ministry of Defence too. His scientific activity is about Mathematical Models and Information Theory for complex systems. During the last ten years he published more than 150 scientific contributions (books, papers, conference contributions). He is editor of 10 International Journals. He is National Scientific Expert at NATO (Research and technology Agency) and National Expert to Italian Ministry of Research (MUR). He is Research Director at CeMiSS (Centro Militare di Studi Strategici) in Italy.Sergiy Borysenko is doctor of science and full professor at the Department of Differential Equations at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute". His scientific interests are in the theory of integro-sum inequalities for investigating the qualitative analysis of the system of differential equations with impulse perturbations. He published more than 150 scientific works. He is editor of 3 International Journals. He is also Coordinator of the International Agreement of scientific cooperation between National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI" and University of Salerno.
