Vittorio Camarchia was born in Turin, Italy, in 1972. He received the Laurea degree and Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy, in 2000 and 2003, respectively. In 2001, 2002, and 2003, he was a Visiting Researcher with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Boston University. In February 2003, he joined the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Politecnico di Torino. In March 2010 he joined IIT as a post-Doc Senior Researcher in the Center for Space Human Robotics. His research is focused on material and device modeling, simulation, and characterization. He is member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), of the Microwave Theory and Technique Society,of the European Microwave Association (EUMA) and of the Italian Society of Professional Engineers. He serves as a reviewer for the Journals IEEE Transaction on Microwave Theory and Technique and International Journal of RF Microwave CAE, for the French Research Council ANR (Agencie National de Research) and for some of the major conferences of the microwave field (e.g. EuMW, InMMIC).
