José González-Monteagudo is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Education (University of Seville, Spain). He has written and researched in these areas: contemporary educational theories; qualitative research and Ethnography; Life-history and narrative approaches related to research and education; non-traditional and international students. Visiting Professor of the French universities Paris 8, Paris-Est Créteil, Lille 1, and Rennes 2. Visiting scholar of the Universities of East London, Canterbury, Warwick, Göttingen, and American University in Cairo (AUC). He speaks and uses Spanish, English, French, and Italian as languages of work. He is an active member of several biographical international networks. He has undertaken research stays, delivered research seminars and speeches, and presented papers, in many countries of Europe and America.
